The Situation
In order to evaluate growth opportunities and maintain competitiveness in its market, a 100-year-old mid-size Law Firm recognized the need for strategic planning and clear direction. The Firm aimed to strategically orient its practices of law to maximize its potential for sustainable growth.
Our Approach
Stack'd supported the Law Firm to take a firm-wide lens to evaluate their talent, processes, and clients strategically in order to develop an overall Firm strategy with which each practice area would line up to. To do so, Stack'd engaged the full Partnership and worked with a smaller cross-section of Partners and operational leadership to determine what the Firm can, needs and wants to do in the future—established and validated strategic priorities and then the Firm's strategic initiatives to align with these priorities.

The strategic planning and development aligned the Law Firm to action the key strategic priorities to attract and retain top talent, serve more sophisticated clients and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Firm without sacrificing the entrepreneurial mindset and independence that the Firm deeply values.
