Strategic Execution

The Situation

A leading Emergency Response company experienced significant growth in recent years. The Leader wanted to accelerate its growth trajectory but recognized the need for guidance in strategic execution to propel the organization in achieving the aggressive growth goal.

Our Approach

Stack’d was engaged to support the organization and their Leadership in developing an executable plan that would clarify where they should focus their efforts and time horizons to drive the successful achievement of their growth aspirations.
  1. Executive Engagement: Stack'd interviewed senior leaders to understand the organization's current strategy, key challenges and identify where there is alignment and misalignment amongst the most senior leaders that needed to be addressed during the strategic planning session.
  2. Strategic Plan Development: Stack'd conducted a three-day strategy workshop with the leadership team and department leads to provide clarity on what the company will and will not do, where they intend to focus their efforts and a strategic plan to serve as the high-level roadmap to achieve their objectives over the next three years.
  3. Team Development: Stack'd facilitated a session based on the Five Behaviours™ Team Development Course developed from Patrick Lencioni's work. This workshop provided insights into individual personality styles, how they 'show up' on the team, and how the leadership team was performing relative to the Five Dysfunctions of a Team (Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Results).

Value Received

Stack’d supported the company in determining the optimal business lines to expand, prioritizing target markets, and establishing the necessary internal infrastructure to drive growth and ensure accountability for their strategic plan. Additionally, the team collaborated to identify and implement measures to enhance cohesion, enabling them to execute the strategic plan more effectively.
